Scheduling and Investment

Scheduling:

Each supervision session is one hour.  Most supervision sessions will include 2 interns at once allowing on-going collaboration with other interns.  Sarah has a "meet and greet" google doc so you can see which interns you prefer to pair up with for supervision, it outlines their name, practice location and any clinical specialties (from OCD tx, addiction, psychotherapy with patients with legal or complete blindness, counseling with patients with end stage renal disease, working with patients with codependency, multiple school based social workers, crisis unit social workers, hospital social workers, ICU social workers and more).  Sarah maintains on average 20-25 interns so you have ample opportunities to collaborate with interns from multiple settings and areas of clinical strength.

All scheduling is online via a google sheet. This also allows you to sign up for your sessions up to 6 months or more in advance.  It is also easily changeable because we all know life happens. You can quickly cancel or move an appointment without having to directly communicate with Sarah.

As your QS, Sarah is also available as needed for consultation via phone or zoom.

Benefits:

With a collaborative model, you can pair up with someone different each week. This promotes peer-to-peer collaboration and learning and expands your case exposure, differential diagnosis experience and treatment planning.

Investment:

Sarah has a flat rate of $50 per supervision session. So if you are meeting with her 1:1 it is $50.  If you are meeting with her with another intern, it is $50.  If you participate in group supervision it is $50.  Payment is due within the week following your session.  Sarah is flexible with payment timelines as needed but this flexibility must be pre-arranged.  Some employers also reimburse you for supervision. Active duty military spouses should inquire with Sarah about a scholarship opportunity which has funded supervision for 2 interns in the last 5 years (note: only 2 interns have qualified to apply and both were granted).

All interns receive immediate electronic statements that you may submit to your employer/scholarship source so they may reimburse you for your supervision costs. You may also print these and submit for tax deductions if your accountant (or Turbo Tax) recommends itemized business deductions.
